Our Campsite is located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

There are numerous activities for the whole family such as the spectacular Shenandoah National Park, A Garden Maze, Luray and Skyline Caverns Luray Museum and regional food and music festivals. Winchester VA, Shenandoah County, Harrisonburg, Staunton and Lexington Virginia.

There is also Skyline Drive, a gorgeous 105-mile road running along mountain ridges for the entire length of the park.

Shenandoah Valley Campground

River Run Campground is a primitive campground.

  • 17 Shenandoah Riverfront Camp Sites with plenty of other sites with river access.
  • At least 1 picnic table and fire ring at each site
  • Large area available for groups of 25 or more
  • Plenty of Porta Johns(trade name verification needed) that are serviced every week
  • Recreation areas, bring your own football, soccer balls, etc.
  • Tent sites are Shenandoah River Front Camping
  • Self contained campers and RVs are allowed and generators are permitted.
  • Shenandoah River Camping
