Evening Introductory Welding Class

The course will provide a basic overview of the welding trade and the development of technology from blacksmith to modern Tig and Mig welding with special emphasis on Shielded Metal Arc Welding.

This course will cover:

Lectures

Welding Safety - Five essentials of welding Equipment operation and setup - Electrode classification

Labs for Shielded Metal Arc Welding

Striking, maintaining and stopping arc

Multiple pass pad and pickup crater

Weave - Tee Joint - Lap Joint

Demo and practice

Mig - Steel and Aluminum

Tig Steel and Aluminum

Oxy Acetylene Brazing, Welding, and Cutting Forge and Anvil - metal forming (blacksmith)

Evening Classes (6pm-8pm)

6 Week - 12 classes (total of 24hrs)

Tuesdays and Thursdays

The session includes all materials, hands-on application

And individual instruction. COST $395.00
