Gluten-Free Shenandoah Valley Virginia

I gave up all grains about a year ago. It was mind-boggling at first and I honestly didn't know how or what to eat. I am working on keeping as many chemicals in my food and body care products and drinking filtered water. I eat grass-fed meat, tons of starch-free veggies, some fruit, whole-fat dairy, nuts and seeds. Also, NO SEED OILS. Giving up mayo and bread was so hard!

I'm a senior citizen. The eczema and arthritis are GONE. My skin is beautiful, and my hair and nails are beautiful. I feel great! You can do this, it just takes time to reprogram your mind from all our past diets and brainwashing by the industrial food chain. All you need is a determination that you want good health.

Whats With Wheat? is a hard-hitting investigation into the growing epidemic of wheat & gluten intolerance, and why after eating wheat for thousands of years, it has been linked to so many health problems. Tens of thousands of people are suffering from ill health and dont realize its a result of the food choices they are making. They often assume it is part of their genetic make-up or the fact of just getting older. The story of wheat is the story of food, people need to become educated, knowledgeable, and aware. Wheat can certainly be an issue for many. Our wheat has changed dramatically, it doesnt even resemble what it used to look like. We have seen an increase in celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity. There are also strong connections between gluten and autoimmune diseases. Cyndi OMeara, nutritionist, interviews 14 experts from around the world to find out WHY we are having such an extreme health crisis in our children today.

If you shop at Costco fill out the suggestion form and ask for a
Gluten FREE Pasta and more GF products.

This GL pasta would be a good start:

Ronzoni Gluten Free Rotini, 12 oz, Non-GMO, Vegan, 4-Grain White Pasta

On the back of the box, it calls for 6 min. boil for al dente but it's best at 5 min.

Never leave leftover GF pasta in the sauce because it falls apart.

I buy mine now at Food Lion.

Schar Gluten Free Pizza Crust, 2-Count, 2-Pack Packaging may Vary ...

Schar Gluten-Free Pizza Crust

Since becoming gluten intolerant, I've tried many, many gluten-free pizza crusts and have attempted to make my own. When I found the Schar gluten-free pizza crust I was glad I did not have to buy frozen pizzas anymore.

Does anyone know of a better way to make a GL Pizza?

A recent large study in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that people with diagnosed, undiagnosed, and latent celiac disease or gluten sensitivity had a higher risk of death, mostly from heart disease and cancer.

Wheat is likely very dangerous for people with Crohns disease, even if you test negative for celiac disease and your doctor says you can eat whatever you like. Consider doing a 30-90 day elimination diet and see if your symptoms improve. What have you got to lose?
