Pick Up The Trash in Woodstock, Virginia

I was pulling into the Food Lion shopping center when, from my car, I noticed a lot of trash in the back of the Bealls outlet store. I asked a couple of ladies from Goodwill, and they said they spoke with Bealls employees about cleaning it up, but no action was taken. They also told me the trash is blowing all about, and they were picking it up by their back door drop-off area.

We have been seeing a lot of people walking their dogs and not cleaning up after them. The Woodstock Village Apartments is one of the worst in the area. Kids are playing in the areas where the lawbreakers repeat this action.

Community Expectations:

1. Immediate Cleanup: All pet owners are required by community rules (and local city ordinances) to pick up after their pets immediately.

2. Proper Disposal: Waste must be bagged and disposed of in the designated outdoor trash receptacles or pet waste stations.

3. Supervision: Pets must be leashed and under the direct control of their owners at all times while in common areas.

Consequences of Non-Compliance:

Failure to comply with these regulations results in:

• Health Hazards: Pet waste carries bacteria and parasites that can live in the soil for years.

• Fines: Residents found in violation of this policy may be subject to administrative fines per occurrence.
